Research activities abroad: Visiting researcher at the Solid State NMR Group, University of Warwick, UK (August 2006 - October 2007); Visiting researcher at the NMR Group, School of Pharmacy, University of East Anglia, UK (August 2018 - January 2019). Current Position: Full Professor at the Department of Physics, Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), Brazil, since September, 1996; Member of the Graduate Programs in Physics and in Chemistry (M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees) both at UFES; Leading researcher of the Laboratory of Carbon and Ceramic Materials (LMC/UFES); Member of the NMR team at the Center for Research on Petroleum Chemistry (LabPetro/UFES). Research interests: Solid-state NMR, carbon materials, graphene oxide and hybrids, lignocellulosic materials; porous materials; petroleum and derived materials.
