Thays Cardoso Valim

Bachelor in Chemistry by Federal University of Espirito Santo with sandwich graduation in BSc (Hons) in Forensic Investigation and Analysis, at Institute of Technology Sligo, Ireland, where she also held an internship in Forensic Science. She also is a Master in Chemistry by Federal University of Espirito Santo working in Analytical Chemistry area and with capsaicinoids quantification by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance. She has experience in analytical chemistry, acting mainly in the following: food chemistry, qualitative and quantitative nuclear magnetic resonance, water analysis, carbon black and scanning electron microscope. She also worked as a Substitute Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Physics, Center for Exact, Natural and Health Sciences, at the Federal University of Espírito Santo. Currently, she is studying a PhD in Chemistry at UFES.
