Maria Concepción García Otaduy

She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen in Germany and her PhD degree in Physics at University of Kent at Canterbury (UK). She was for three years a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Radiology Department of the Clinics Hospital of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo, where she works currently as a Research Assistant in the MRI Section of the Department. Her research focus is in the application of quantitative MRI techniques in the study of neurological and psychiatric disorders, and in brain and muscle multinuclear "in vivo" MR spectroscopy. She is a PI of the CInAPCe project. Her teaching activities include mainly courses about MRI security and the Physical Principles of MRI imaging, and she is the coordinator of a postgraduation course in MRI for Biomedical professionals and technologists at the "Escola Permanente" of the Clinics Hospital of the University of São Paulo.
