Glaucia Braz Alcantara
UFMS - Brazil – Food and Natural ProductsGlaucia holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (2002) and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Federal University of São Carlos (2007), with emphasis on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR). From 2009 to 2011, she was Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at the Federal University of Goiás, being co-responsible for the NMR Laboratory. She is currently Associate Professor 4 at the Institute of Chemistry, Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, where she is responsible for the multiuser NMR facility. She has experience in NMR, with emphasis on the NMR technique, equipment operation, experiment acquisition with liquid and heterogeneous samples (HR-MAS), and multinuclear NMR, in addition to acting in the areas of Chemometrics and Metabolomics. She is currently a CNPq Research Productivity fellow (PQ2).
